omy.sg interview // harajuku street style pop-up store

hello lovers!

i was recently interviewed for omy.sg for their feature on the tangs harajuku street style pop-up store!

basically me and another male model got to head to the store early in the wee hours of the morning before opening and play dress up with the awesome clothes from the newly added harajuku section, which some of you might have heard of. i went to the launch as well!

it's in chinese, which isn't my forte, but there's a little button for listening to the article as well, though to be honest it's pretty robotic and quite hilarious, reminds me of my electronic chinese dictionary my mom got me during primary school. nonetheless, it's a nice touch.

i'm not in the article, though, just photos, but the entertaining one's the video interviews! haha here you go, enjoy. try not to laugh at me too much haha.

i've been selected as one of ten for the tangs harajuku best dressed competition, and i know i should have mentioned this earlier but i was embarrassed and i look hideous haha.

but. i really , really, really need to go to japan. i.e. the prize.

so im bribing hahahaha or as i'd like to think of it offering an um incentive? if i win, i'll pick one voter and personally give him/her a present of thank yous! i haven't actually thought of what yet but i'll let you know by tomorrow and it's going to be a nice one ♥ ♥ ♥ . i also promise to post excessively about japan when i'm back (see how much i need to go?) yesterday i had half my face painted black

a distraction from updating, haha.

went for a photoshoot yesterday for some creative makeup (i swear, the two of them are geniuses) and i had half my face painted black.

haha.

isn't it crazy interesting. haha. i'm excited for the photos. poor aylwin's camera died though, so he helped out to paint my face black too. job change from photographer to face painter. haha. and wrote the chinese character "ren3" on it, it was such a joke. lalala.

i'm in school on my laptop now, so i don't have all my photos. okay, back to class now. sigh sigh sigh.



oh but am so happy for later! meeting k and e for dinner and girl talk, and then _____'s going to come over and find me later ♥. i like to ask people if they're okay with being on my blog and stuff, and i haven't asked him yet, so im going to be all mysterious and shizz now. unless you guys bribe me, and then i might consider. i like supermarket sushi, cedele, and moisturizer. haha.

b and i have been entertaining ourselves with skype, moving skype emoticons onto facebook, and singing silly ticky ticky made up songs. despite the fact that she's literally in another continent. love you b.

oh, im like happy j now.

(except for the fact that i spent 19 bucks! on cab this morning. grrr. stupid peak hour + me sleeping way past my snooze button. sulks. )

NO I HAVE NOT ABANDONED.

HELLOOOOOOOO.

omg i am the worst i know. just that with everything happening all at once, being busy either a) casting, b) working, or c) waiting for my effing hair to dry because now that it's blonde it takes like sixty gadzillion yearszzzz.

oh, right, i finally went blonde. hahahaha.
i know, instant thoughts of ah lian-ness. i'm too lazy to document the process, but it's been a crazy, psychotic ride, i just didn't know how to post it up without having gone through the last three weeks of blonde madness to really determine how i feel about it.

anyways, so far, i'm loving it. haha. it's different and every morning i wake up and forget and am like whoaaaaa. but highly entertaining. if you're on my facebook, you've probably already seen photos, but if you're not, here are some, um, outings with the blonde hair.

the girls raised $1,731 for charity! :) hooray. although we lost to the polo boys (technically plus adrian pang, claire jedrek and michelle chia okay! who can say no to michelle chia, she is such love please. ) by thirty plus dollars. DAMNIT. HAHAHA. i don't quite have many pictures, but here's a priceless one of corde with our cardboard sign. haha.

worked with corde again! they called us back to do this event as well, why do they have such awesome props! haha gave out cardboard cameras and popcorn hats, and took photos with these crazy assed awesome props.

if you're curious as to why i'm blonde. haha. i've always wanted to do it, just that it's always been a matter of omg it's going to be damn ex to maintain, school, and it's hard to book jobs with blonde hair. but the kind people at hoyu whom i did a show for are currently covering my hair colour and products for a year, and I HAVE A WIG NOW YAYY HAHAHAHA.

so. technically it's all settled. haha.

prepping for hoyu hair show!

doing a hairshow for hoyu on wednesday, so did my prep today. uploaded halfway to photobucket then somehow the page hung and server crashed, so it's all gone! -wails. why do things like that always happen to me, gah. i have crazy hair colour now, though. im going to attempt to upload it and then play one level of cockadoodle inc and if it's not done by then im going to bed, haha.

x love and i went to a|x a while back and i bought an awesome duffel like finally!

i love sales. i wanted to get the one with the gloss monograms, but then x said there were no long straps, which made sense since it was for holidays anyways. so i got this one! and so did x. which is very unlike us but i convinced him it would complete his life as it would complete mine. haha. brought it on the singtel bintan trip! :)

anyways.

i broke all public transport records today! determined not to waste my money on cabs anymore because it's like three hundred plus a month wasted! and i want to revamp my room = new furniture! which i have to proudly sponsor myself. so. i took a grand total of 8 bus rides and 5 train rides today! feels like i've been travelling non stop, sheesh. went for hoyu prep, then audition, then casting, then home, then ikea, then novena, then home.

and im still awake!

found my perfect wardrobe today at ikea, (yes, i love ikea, despite its mass-produced consumerism and shameless marketing ploys for the budget friendly) haha. it's got three doors and midget-friendly. i.e. i don't have to tiptoe to hang my clothes like for my wardrobe now, because yes, i am short as everyone knows. haha.

but but but. i didn't get it in the end because they can't deliver by tomorrow, which is the only day i'm free to assemble it cause am so busy with shows non-stop. i don't know when i'm free next and they can only hold it for five days max for free anyways so i don't mind going again, i love it and the freaking swedish meatballs so much. any excuse to eat it right. so yes, conclusion, i am a cheapo, a greedy pig, and i secretly like to assemble furniture, which is why i love buying ikea furniture, haha. it makes me feel all superhuman and then i have bragging rights to say i built my own wardrobe, okay.
